Roswell Delirium is a 1980s emotionally charged science fiction thriller film set in an alternate 1980s in which the United States is hit by a wave of nuclear attacks, and those who remain after the fallout, all of whom are experiencing radiation poisoning but pretending everything is normal. A young woman named Mayday attempts to contact her father, who is on a shuttle mission, over a series of ham radios. Instead of establishing contact, she receives an intergalactic distress call from space that takes her on a journey to Spacerock, the land that once housed Area 51. She is exposed to severe radiation and within days all of her organs begin to fail. Knowing that medical treatment will be of no use, her mother Wendy brings her back to Spacerock and gives her to the aliens in the hope that they can save her.
