Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos.. Colman Domingo’s first leading role on TV.. Coleman Domingo is becoming my favorite actor. He can actually make reading the phone book into a compelling story. And this is as compelling as The Madness is right now. The dialogue is almost embarrassingly bad. They try hard to be stiff and gripping, but it just feels very predictable and banal. From the start, there’s a lot about the story that defies even the most basic common sense. I’m constantly asking myself ‘why why why?!’ So much so that after episode 2 I skipped episode 7 just to see what happens at the end. I have no doubt that in the episodes I skipped, there’s little more than a lot of over-the-top storytelling and unnecessary dialogue.
